This one goes out to the Seniors, we all know its about to get real.
The Tired Man
There was a man that worked very hard.
Always tired and filled with hate.
Seemed as if he was never holding aces,
Like he never was dealt the right card.
Few people don’t know how this feels, many can relate…
Heart drawn out of his soul.
Barely able to breathe.
Lifeless and weary props over hoe like it’s a pole.
Has no stretch of time to rest and grieve.
There was a man that worked very hard.

Desk
The desk is so gray
It’s used everyday
You sit
So you can rest a bit
I write
Dreams of flying a kite
I lean
After I eat the so nasty beans
It’s cramped
Like a light bulb in a lamp
Defaced and misplaced
Smelly and covered in jelly
And even when there’s a test…
It’s the best!
