Why did you join soccer?
I like it a lot
How long have you played soccer?
Since preschool
What are your hopes for this year? How have you improved since you started?
I have gotten faster reflexes at stopping the balls being shot at me, I hope play for a team in college, maybe UT.
What have you learned from soccer (in the sport and life skills)?
Hard work pays off
Think about the people you’ve met through soccer: coaches, students, fans, players. Who has influenced you the most? Why?
James Trabing has been an enormous help to me this past season, he helped train me as a goalie and teach me new tactics and skills to be better. I've never had a coach train me like that before.
Who’s your biggest supporter(s)?
My team and high school coaches have always been an amazing support for me.
What are your accomplishments in soccer? (Personal and awards.)
I made first team all district my sophomore year.
What’s your favorite part of being a Lady Tiger?
The team becomes a second family to you and we always support each other for the most part.
What are some of your biggest strengths? Weaknesses?
Playing volleyball for many year has definitely helped me to become a better goalie as it has helped with my hand-eye coordination, fast twitch muscle for quicker reflexes and never letting the ball hit the floor (or pass by me into the goal box in this case).
How do you prepare for the games?
I eat a bowl of cereal, put on my Captain America Jersey, and I'm the field I warm up my arms and punt the ball.

How long have you played soccer?
One year!
What are your hopes for this year? How have you improved since you started?
To improve my soccer skills in general and have better endurance. I'm still not the best, but I've gotten so much better. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about soccer to somewhat being able to handle a ball.
What have you learned from soccer (in the sport and life skills)?
Teamwork is vital, and what you put into something is what you get out of it.
Think about the people you’ve met through soccer: coaches, students, fans, players. Who has influenced you the most? Why?
Definitely my team! They've helped me learn how to support one another through the highs and the lows, and helped me come out of my shell a little bit.
Who’s your biggest supporter(s)?
My parents. They came to every single game, even though there was no guarantee I would get playtime.
What are your accomplishments in soccer? (Personal and awards.)
I've only played for one year, so nothing.
What’s your favorite part of being a Lady Tiger?
Team dinners, bus rides, and just hanging out with my team in general.

I'm really really tall, so I get to headers before everyone else. My weakness is my lack of experience.
How do you prepare for the games?
I eat lots of pasta and listen to my gameday playlist all day.

Why did you join soccer?
I joined soccer because I really enjoy the sport! I've played since I was around the age 8-9 and enjoyed it since.
How long have you played soccer?
I've played since I was in second grade so for about 9 years.
What are your hopes for this year? How have you improved since you started?
I really hope we go far in playoffs! We made it into playoffs my freshman year and lost first round. Since I've started i've gained more skill in defense and control with the ball. Really pushing yourself helps!
What have you learned from soccer (in the sport and life skills)?
I've learned a lot about teamwork and sportsmanship while playing. During games you need communication to make sure every play is accurate. Before and after games getting pumped in the locker room with each other so we're ready to win gives us some spirit before the game.
Think about the people you’ve met through soccer: coaches, students, fans, players. Who has influenced you the most? Why?
Pretty much every senior has influenced me. I watched how everyone plays and try to work my way up to eventually play as well as they do. Also the coaches, they help me during practice and games and I couldn't be more thankful.
Who’s your biggest supporter(s)?
My parents and grandparents, they come to every game and always ask how practice was. If they can't make some games then I'd just fill them in on everything.
What are your accomplishments in soccer? (Personal and awards.)
Freshman year I lettered in the sport and my sophomore year I made All-District honorable mention.
What’s your favorite part of being a Lady Tiger?
I always love how excited we get before games and when we go on away games and eat out at places together.
What are some of your biggest strengths? Weaknesses?
My biggest strengths would have to be my flexiblity on the field, I can play a good amount of positions on the field. My weaknesses would be at times on the field I don't give my absolute 100% on the field.
How do you prepare for the games?
Before games on the bus ride there I usually listen to music to help me get pumped up and just think what I need to do in the game to help myself.

Think about the people you’ve met through soccer: coaches, students, fans, players. Who has influenced you the most? Why?
I must say that Mariah Waters has impacted me the most. Even though she was a senior and I was a freshman last year, she took me under her wing and is now one of my closest and best friends. She has shown me that you can achieve anything you set your mind to as long as you're willing to put in the hard work.
Who’s your biggest supporter(s)?
My biggest supporters are definitely my parents. Even though they still don't quite understand the strategies, they have come to almost every game and cheer on the Lady Tigers.
What are your accomplishments in soccer? (Personal and awards.)
I would have to say lettering in Varsity Soccer and getting to start on defense have been my biggest accomplishments on the team so far.

My favorite part is how close we are as a team, and how we are able to come together and give our all on the field.
